Scaling down the dosage of MSM from 100 gm/day as depletion is countered.

After having been on astronomical amounts of coffee for well over a decade, my metyl-sulphonyl-methane (MSM) would have been quite depleted and my joints 'shot to bits'!

I've now been on an intensive course of MSM of about 100 gm/day for quite some time and feel that I'm somewhat over the nutritional depletion - I've therefore curtailed the amount of MSM that I take to one heaped teaspoonful in the morning and one in the evening, or about 14 grams per day. Throughout this process my coffees have tasted absolutely atrocious as I feel that both MSM and coffee strongly interact with each other.

Hence the obvious solution is definitely not to curtail the amount of coffee one drinks, but rather to raise one's level of regular MSM supplementation. This is because coffee is a marvellous anti-inflammatory drug, very similar to Mobic and Voltaren in results!

Finally, of course without laboratory facilities at my disposal, the size of my contribution in this regard is somewhat limited... however I'm glad to have made my significant contribution as regards to my attempted cure for arthritis.

Ps - After the initial lower dose some pain returned, so I think the maintenance dosage should be much higher.

Ps2 - I ended up taking 21 gm of MSM  for the total morning dose, (whilst not neglecting the other supplements), and the pain subsided!
